We partnered with a retail client to increase market share of a high-potential customer segment by conducting market research to identify pain points, developing a solution roadmap, and creating a prototype for an innovative digital experience aimed at increasing customer engagement and retention.

Challenge

Our client, a leading vision care company, needed to localize their product for the Japanese market. This market has highly specialized needs due to Japan’s regulatory landscape. Japan was also identified as a high value market.

Solution

We built designs for a standalone offshoot of our client’s flagship B2B2C product that caters specifically to the needs of the Japanese market. The goal was to ensure that the digital product would meet the exacting needs of Japan’s optical providers and supply an excellent experience for patients ordering products through their eye care provider. We advised our client on how to flex their established design system to suit the needs of their global customer base.
