Experient developed a scalable prototype to enable sales staff to demo what software would look like if it was integrated into any potential partner’s digital experience.
Challenge
The sales staff of a healthcare software vendor was pursuing expanded relationships with multiple retail partners. However, the potential partners struggled to imagine how the proposed features would integrate into their existing digital ecosystems to provide incremental value to customers.
Solution
We developed prototypes that the client sales staff could use to demo features and illustrate interconnections between their novel functionality and the partner’s existing functionality. To make it feel natural, we started by extracting the partner’s existing UI look and feel (fonts, colors, images, logos, buttons, etc.) while iterating their UI patterns to improve the existing experience. Further, the prototypes were componentized, variable-driven, and relationally-designed to allow rapid customization for each new partner pursuit.
Value Delivered
The sales staff saw dramatically improved partner conversations using the prototypes as a sales asset to “make it feel real.” This approach to componentized UI assets also inspired further efficiencies in the broader product development process.
